Round Bottom - Property of George Loomis Gwinn - Photo by R.E. Ribble
In the heart of Appalachia, where in the process of time New River has ground its way into the hills, there is a place known as Round Bottom; to the Gwinns the most beautiful place on earth, because it is home. Home not only because the family was born and raised there, but also because they grew, and became a part of that which makes life beautiful. (From an unpuplished manuscript written by Laban Gwinn, son of George Loomis Gwinn and Rosa Spade Gwinn)
